These cars should’ve stayed back on the drawing board
Perhaps it was the laid-back nature of the West Coast location, or maybe that automakers are saving up for next January's Detroit event, but this year's Los Angeles International Auto Show was definitely lacking any kind of golly-gee! excitement.
Except for the Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept, which wasn't so much a concept as a full-scale model of its design show competition entry, there was little fanfare on the show floor. What there were plenty of, though, were duds. Flip through the gallery to see some of the show's worst offenders.
