Why? Simply put: midsize luxury sedan buyers want a German badge. Customers willing to pay around $70,000 in this segment will continue to buy the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. So as good as the new RLX may end up, like the Hyundai Genesis, Infiniti M and Lexus GS, the new 2014 RLX will more than likely end up at the bottom end of the sales charts again in Canada.
