Like its four-door counterpart, the i3 Coupe is powered by a 170 horsepower electric motor that's mounted in the rear. And yes, you will have to plug the BMW in. But what makes it so darned offputting is it's the antithesis of what the brand stands for. BMWs are supposed to be engaging, fun, and awesome to drive. The i3's upright stands and lack of performance don't bode well for this. But hey, at least its rear-wheel drive.
