SRT Viper

It's hard not to concede that the 2013 SRT Viper was easily the star of this year's New York auto show. We say this not because of its eye-popping body or horsepower and torque figures from its 8.4-litre V10 mother of an engine, but also due to the obvious passion and symbolic significance it carries for a company now on a sales roll. This is a monument to the employees that stuck with the firm through bankruptcy protection and the choking off of development funds by Cerberus that preceded it.
