Though the Viper takes the crown for most intimidating and horsepower-heavy sports car unveiled in New York, the world debut of the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG showed a luxury performance roadster that shamed even that 8.4-litre V10 hulk of an engine in the Viper.
