2010 New York auto show: Top production cars
A mix of new models - big and small - debut in the Big Apple
Small cars, new wagons and hybrids were the latest auto fashion themes coming out at the New York International Auto Show's glitzy production car runways. But New York being the land of glamour and quickly returning financial confidence, there were also a number of large and thirsty luxury introductions.
Toyota kept the spotlight entirely on youth brand Scion - coming to Canada this fall - with the heavily revised tC compact two-door and the tiny four-seat iQ Mini-fighter. Other notable intros included a new compact Mitsubishi crossover, the sedan version of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, and the Acura TSX Sport Wagon.
