Shopping for a new car? AJAC nominates the best cars in each category
The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) has revealed the 12 category winners for its annual Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year awards. These winners were chosen by nearly 100 journalist members who drove all the vehicles in a class back-to-back on the same day and then voted on a number of different aspects. Depending on the class, things like fuel economy, price, performance and environmental impact are weighted differently, but all play a significant part in determining the winners.
The overall Car and Utility Vehicle winners will be revealed during the media preview day of the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto on February 13, 2014.
