The only thing Canadians gripe about as much as gas prices are car insurance premiums. And indeed, it's not without good reason. In six of Canada's 10 provinces, where private insurers gouge drivers on auto insurance, the costs can be great.
But where are Canada's highest auto insurance rates? With data from the Fraser Institute, which recently ranked each province using average annual figures from 2009 (latest available data), here's where Canadians pay the most for auto coverage.
