The Matrix producers actually built 2.4 km of pristine highway to stage the full-on, bullet-riddled action for the much anticipated sequel. And after all that money and effort, the hero car ended up being ... a Cadillac CTS. This of course was no surprise, given GM donated some 300 vehicles for filming, and the CTS was set to go on sale as the movie hit theatres. As for the CTS, thrill to the crunching crashes! Gasp at the near misses! Be disappointed by the crummy interior plastics! Wince at the floppy, roly-poly handling! Would've been cooler in a 'Vette.
