If you’re like us, you’ll eschew your student-loan repayment plan and the furniture rental program at Harry’s Pawn Palace to self-direct your income tax refund into some wheeled entertainment. Because, like us, you probably equate wheels with grin-inducing amusement. Here are 10 things with (or about) wheels you can acquire for about $1,700. Why that sum?
We have the pesky Heartbleed bug to thank for the temporary chaos at the Canada Revenue Agency, our beloved tax collector that strives to vacuum up every stray dollar we Canucks try to squirrel away for a rainy day. The ensuing turmoil prevented us from learning just how big the average tax refund will be this year. So we’re going to stick to the number we reported last year – about $1,700 – as our budget for some tax return fun.
