This year's ten most popular new cars and trucks in the country
After setting a new annual record of 1.74 million new cars and trucks sold in 2013*, Canadians have continued to flock to dealerships in record numbers for the first six months of 2014.
For the third year in a row, sales of new cars and trucks in June hit record levels, with 175,428 units sold. That’s up 2.2 per cent over the same period last year, and also brought year to date sales up to 908,094 — the earliest date on record for sales to hit the 900K mark.
So what are Canadians buying? So far in 2014, here are the 10 most popular new cars and trucks in the country. You might recognize a few from last year’s list …
