As complicated interchanges go, the Magic Roundabout has nothing on the baffling mess of ramps and sliproads in California's Judge Harry Pregerson Interchange. It's been described as the "biggest, tallest, most costly traffic structure yet built by California Department of Transportation" by the L.A. Times, and joins two of the state's busiest freeways — the I-105 and I-110 — together. An engineering feat, yes, but one best avoided.
