What is the Dakar Rally?

January 20th marked the final stage of this year’s Dakar Rally. The 2013 arduous off-road endurance event tested competitors over a challenging route, starting in Lima, Peru before travelling though the Tucuman province of Argentina and finishing in Santiago, Chile.
