Canadians were hard to find at Rennsport (it seemed there were more Australians than Canucks!). But their on-track successes made up for their lack of numbers. Arthur Conner of B.C. drove his California-built 1964 Platypus-Porsche to victory in his Eifel Trophy race after pole winner Hurley Haywood's 914/6 GT failed to finish.
