While Ontario's Highway 21, along the southeastern shore of Lake Huron, gives relatively safe access to cottagers and vacationers during the summer months, it becomes a much more difficult driving experience during the winter. When the flurries fly, Highway 21 is often closed due to severe snow storms caused by its proximity to Lake Huron.

As MSN reader Driver55 commented, "I drive this highway for about an hour every day to work and back all year round and have experienced some driving conditions I didn't even know could exist! Not to mention the deer hazards all year round."
