Many MSN readers felt that Quebec's Route 389, that runs between Baie-Comeau in the south and Fermont in the north (at the Labrador border), deserved mention as one of the most-dangerous roads in Canada.

The more than 560-km route, which skirts the Manicouagan Reservoir, has few gas stations and is only half paved.

Wrote MSN reader Douggrrz: "This is one road that I will not drive on again in my lifetime."
