Do hybrids work at -25C? We hunt the Northern Lights in a Toyota Auris Hybrid to find out
Show Old Man Winter where to go with these winter-ready vehicles
Groundhog Day has come and passed, and if you’re to believe the little critters across Canada and the U.S., we’re in for six more weeks of winter (sigh). It’s been a tough winter so far, what with freak ice storms, massive dumps of snow, and frosty temperatures testing our patience.
To help ease you through those next six weeks, we’ve put together a list of new vehicles that are properly equipped to tackle whatever else Old Man Winter might throw our way. Most of the vehicles on this list come standard with an advanced all-wheel-drive system, but remember, a good set of snow tires will help keep your car out snowbanks and ditches.
